Dutch phpGG Frontend Special: Win a ticket!

Hi!

Next saturday (24th of January 2008) the Dutch PHP usergroup (phpGG) will host an all day frontend event in The Hague (Den Haag).

It features the following talks:
  • Bram Veenhof from Microsoft will be talking about User Experience with the Microsoft platform
  • Mihai Corlan will be talking about Flex and AIR
  • Robert Jan Verkade will be talking about general Frontend development and clean HTML
  • and I will host a talk about the 8 reasons PHP developers should love JavaScript

I'm positive I will make a JavaScript convert out of all PHP developers that attend, so if you're not up for that....

And if you're not interested in learning more about Frontend development or if you're not up for having a good time with like minded developers, I'd stay away... ;-)

Otherwise I'd suggest checking out the special PHPGG page for more details and if you reply to this post before Thursday night, 23:58 (UTC+1) you can win a FREE ticket donated by the phpGG (there will be a raffle).

Okay... so they're only € 15,-. but like beer, it's better when it's free!

Unfortunately I don't think the event would be of much use to non-Dutch speakers...
At least, my presentation will be in Dutch as will most others, I would imagine.
I think you'd be better off waiting for DPC :-).

I'll bite, so here's my comment - besides, Utrecht to The Hague isn't to worst of distances to drive on a Saturday for what seems to be quite an interesting day :-)
